I was recently awarded an Insight Grant from SSHRC for the amount of $76,237 (2012-2015) for the project entitled: "Antecedents and consequences of performance appraisal formats"
Stéphane obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University in 1995. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, North Carolina. Currently, Dr. Brutus is a Professor of Management at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal and served as Chair of the Management Department and Director of the Research Centre for Business Process Innovations. Dr. Brutus’ research focuses mainly on feedback processes in organizations. He is interested in formal multi-source feedback intervention and informal feedback mechanisms. He has published on these topics in Academy of Management Learning and Education, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Human Resource Management Review, and Human Resource Development Quarterly. He has served as Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Science and President of the Canadian Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
